French II Honors
This one-year course is designed to continue the development of proficiency in the four skills introduced in French I: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The focus is communication in French, incorporating further understanding of Francophone cultures, connecting with other disciplines, comparing native language to French, and participating in multicultural communities. Knowledge of basic structures and vocabulary will be reviewed and expanded to allow the student to communicate at the intermediate level in actual situations. The pre-requisite for this course is the successful completion of French I. This course will fulfill either the one fine Arts/Humanities or one of the elective credits require for graduation.
